Ukiyo - Japanese print technique
This is the workshop to make Japanese woodblock prints(Ukiyo-e) in the new way which is the collaboration of traditions and technology. The participants can learn the attractiveness of Ukiyo-e, how to make data with Inkscape(2D design software) , engrave with the lasercutter, and how to print it.

Materials and logistics:
-Bring the computer it can install the Inkscape
-Installing Inkscape to their computers beforehand(if possible. I can explain it during the workshop but it’s better to save time.)
Mentors and affiliations:
Natsuka Kamei is a Japanese creator who is passionate about making things in an analog/digital way. She studied design at Keio university, digital fabrication at Fab Academy and worked as a technical staff at the makerspace of Waseda university in Tokyo.
